Contrast Security has been selected as a finalist for two SC Awards this year in the “Best Web Application Solution” and “Rookie Security Company of the Year” categories! For those who may be unaware, the SC Awards honor the achievements of companies and information security professionals striving to safeguard businesses, their customers and critical data.

LOGO_SCAWARDS2017_WINNER Our selection this year as a finalist for two of the prestigious SC Awards serves as a testament to our innovation in the application security industry. According to the 2016 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report, web application attacks accounted for 82% of all financial data breaches. And countless studies have shown that almost every web application has serious vulnerabilities.

Because “software is eating the world,” application security gets harder every day. Every line of code you write makes you easier to attack. And what’s more, static analysis, dynamic analysis, composition analysis and web application firewalls have all failed to keep pace with modern software development.

Contrast is fundamentally changing the way software is both produced and operated, introducing a new era of self-protecting software. We are successfully disrupting the application security market, which has been dominated by slow, inaccurate end of lifecycle scanners for well over a decade.

Winners will be announced during RSA Conference 2017 at the SC Awards dinner in San Francisco on February 14, 2017. For more information and to see the full list of finalists, visit https://www.scmagazine.com/awards/.
