Insight #1

The post quantum encryption era is upon us, and Apple is leading the charge to protect against future quantum computing attacks by boosting security on its iMessage platform, adding a new form of message encryption on top of its existing encryption tools.

Insight #2

OpenAI recently removed the accounts of a bunch of malicious actors who may have been using ChatGPT for nefarious purposes. I applaud them for doing this, but it is not going to prevent those actors from just opening new accounts and continuing their malicious activities. I totally expect OpenAI to improve its detection of these actors over time and to strengthen the system accordingly.

Insight #3

Password spraying, credential stuffing, brute forcing: The flavor of the attack doesn't really matter. Enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) will help to mitigate the success of all of them.
