Insight #1

"Removing the entire security team as a cost savings measure will not end up saving you money in the short or long term. Security is a business unit that saves an organization money."

Insight #2

"Whistleblowers have a very important role in our current world, and we will continue to see more reckless practices exposed as direct revenue generating activities clash with security and privacy requirements. I wouldn’t doubt it if we see a GDPR-like regulation in the United States sooner than later."

Insight #3

"Lite threat models are my favorite. Adding a new feature or changing a security control? Involve stakeholders in a lite threat modeling session discussing threats and risks and you will be surprised how engaged everyone is. As you grow, hand the process off to the engineering teams to perform on their own."
