Active Committer: An individual who runs a scan against at least one repository within the last consecutive 30 days.
Applications: Software programs, binary code, source code, serverless functions, components, libraries, modules, and/or services that provides a set of capabilities in support of a business function.
Application Instances: A single running instance of a software program. For Java Applications, this is defined by a single Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
Concurrent Containerized Host: A single, running containerized instance or orchestrated pod with Contrast instrumentation. The concurrent host quantity is calculated using the highest hourly average of all running hosts after excluding the top 5% of usage hours.
Concurrent Server Host: A single physical or virtual machine with Contrast instrumentation. The concurrent host quantity is calculated using the highest hourly average of all running hosts after excluding the top 5% of usage hours.
Developers: A team member who is part of the software development team. A developer typically contributes software code and includes consultants and contractors.
Project: A repository, or a distinct logical application within a repository, configured for independent analysis. The Project is a unique configuration connected to a specific repository URL or Repository ID within a Source Control Management system (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). It encompasses all branches, tags, and commit history associated with that unique Repository ID.
