Contrast Security is application security for modern applications and APIs. If you think about how traditional tools, like static analysis and dynamic analysis have worked over the years and web app firewalls have worked over the years, they tend to generate AppSec programs that find lots of issues, but they don't really end up remediating a lot of things.

So you end up with big backlogs, low remediation rates, lots of false positives, and, frankly, AppSec programs that aren't very healthy.

Contrast works differently. Contrast works from inside the running applications. You add Contrast to your workloads, and Contrast does all the work in the background for you. You don't have to change anything about the way that you build, test, or deploy your applications.
